ONLINE! Mindfulness in Relationships

Mindfulness in Relationships: Listening as a Mindfulness Practice

Relationships offer a unique opportunity to practice mindfulness "in the wild", and to use the skills of meditation to deepen our connections with others and with ourselves. In this highly interactive online 90-minute workshop, we will practice internal techniques and external techniques for offering mindful emotional support to a loved one who is upset. All are welcome to the workshop, including friends and family without prior experience with awareness practice.

Instructor: Eran Magen, Ph.D., attended his first 10-day silent meditation retreat in 2003 and earned his Ph.D. in psychology from Stanford University in 2008. Eran teaches physicians, educators, meditators and parents how to form stronger, more supportive relationships in their professional and personal lives. Eran served as the research director for the department of Counseling and Psychological Services at the University of Pennsylvania prior to founding the Center for Supportive Relationships.
